You win in the Three Amigos by landing winning paylines although the real fun is with one of the special features of the game:

The Respin Feature is initiated when Amigos land fully on at least reels 1 and 2 but not on all reels, after which the stacks that landed that initiated the feature are held and the other reels then respin for a chance to land more stacks. Progressives are awarded for completely landing 3, 4 or 5 reels for the Mini, Minor, or Major Progressives respectively, on adjacent reels from left to right. The Grand Progressive is awarded if you Fill the Screen with the same Amigo symbol. And if that wasn’t reward enough, if you’re awarded the Grand, you’ll also receive the Major, too! If you have less luck and only land reels 1 and 2, you receive the Amigo Bonus instead. During these features, you are not awarded line pays in addition to the other awards.

The Free Games Bonus is initiated by landing 3 or more Eagle Bonus symbols for 8 free games with the possibility for retriggers. Upon initiation, 5 wheels spin with wheels 1, 3 and 5 providing the number of “Hat” symbols which will be guaranteed to land on those respective reels during each bonus spin although more could land. Hat symbols will always evaluate to the same symbol after each bonus spin. Wheels 2 and 4 will determine your maximum multiplier for those reels, respectively, up to 5x. But to be clear, it’s the MAXIMUM you could get: you if you land a 5x multiplier, coin symbols for that particular reel will evaluate to 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x. Each time a coin symbol lands on reels 2 and 4, it becomes sticky for the remainder of the bonus, which is why a retrigger becomes so important!

  17. This is my favorite Ainsworth game. It's always my first go to machine at my local casino. I first assess the Minor and the Major amounts at each machine. Anytime the amounts are $5 to about $10 above $50 for the Minor or $200 for the major, the machine is usually ready to pay it out at max bet. If I see a machine that has the Major a few dollars above $210, i always end up getting it at max bet. This of course after several spins, sometimes within my first $100 of play. The most I've won during a bonus is $700+. I'm still on a mission to get my first Grand!
